This is just a segment of the scene; the original is much, much longer. In fact, I can remember renting this movie at our "local video store" back when I was in high school (1987-1990). And F.M. and Ray aren't coked-up in this scene (if they are they hid it well). It's Amber that is. Look at her eyes. Watch her facial expressions. Many of the girls who did porn in the 80s were coke fiends. Amber Lynn battle it for YEARS, well into the late 90s/early Y2K from what I've been told. The late porn star Aja was fucked-up on nearly every film she did; she was into the really heavy stuff, like shooting heroin. A guy I know who's older than I am and works at a distributor in the valley told me the early 2000s Canadian star Patricia Petite (yes, THAT one, of Darren James "fame") was so wasted on the few occasions he saw her she was barely coherent. Drugs and porn have always gone hand in hand. It's all fast money. All the bucks these women make is wasted and spent by week's end; when they finally leave the industry, they have little to nothing to show for it. Too bad, really. A smart girl would live modestly and squirrel the dough away and/or invest it so she'll have something once producers no longer find her to be such a hot commodity. Jack Horner was honest when he would tell Amber Waves, "stay beautiful," because the fact is, when your looks fade - and they will - and you can no longer appealing reinvent yourself, appearance-wise, you're finished in that business.
